Are you eligible for the ESSKA-DJO Research Grant 2010?

As part of our ongoing commitment to ‘never stop getting better’ we collaborated with ESSKA in 2000 to set up the biannual ESSKA-DJO Research Grant  to encourage innovative scientific work in the field of Sport Traumatology and Rehabilitation. Winners to date have included Nicola Maffuli (UK), Uffe Jorgenssen (Denmark) and Antonio Marmotti (Italy).

Although significant progress in sports medicine techniques is achieved every year, we recognize the importance of scientific research programmes to both validate existing treatments and products and to investigate new ones.

A maximum budget of US$15,000 over two years will be awarded by the ESSKA-DJO Grant Committee to the winning researcher or research centre whose research project fulfils all the selection criteria.

Researchers and research teams should submit their full entry forms by October 15th 2009 by completing the entry requirements set out at www.esska2010.com.

The winning research will then be published in the ESSKA journal following an official presentation at next year’s ESSKA Congress in June.
