|We are delighted to announce the appointment of Michael P Mogul as the new Chief Executive Officer and President at DJO Global.
Mike Mogul has succeeded Les Cross, DJO's former President and CEO who has assumed the role of Chairman of the Board. Les Cross, who worked with DJO for the past 20 years, announced his retirement in January this year.
During his first visit to our new International headquarters in Guildford (UK), Mike said: "I am honoured to join the talented leadership team at DJO and am looking forward to helping them continue to grow the company in new and existing markets. DJO has a proud history of innovation, world class customer service and a terrific corporate culture, which make it an exciting platform on which to build."
Stephen Murphy Executive Vice President, International Business, who showed Mike around the new offices and introduced him to the team, welcomed his appointment: “Mike brings 22 years of outstanding commercial experience in orthopaedics to DJO. Since 2005, he has been instrumental in rebuilding and driving strong and sustained performance in Stryker's Orthopaedics business, which is its largest segment. I am delighted he has chosen to join DJO Global.”
Mr. Mogul served as the Group President of Orthopaedics of Stryker Corp. from September 2009 to June 10, 2011. He served as Managing Director of Stryker Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where he led the rebuilding of these organizations following the Howmedica acquisition.
From 1994 to 2000, he served as Vice President, Sales for the Osteonics Division of Stryker, where he led the successful integration of the U.S. Osteonics and Howmedica sales teams.
He began his career with Stryker in 1989, as a Sales Representative of Stryker Instruments. Mr. Mogul received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Colorado and attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
