This year, more than 1,700 Health Care Professionals from 65 countries participated at ESSKA 2008 in Porto…. And this was a perfect environment for us to introduce DJO International’s new “House of Quality Brands” concept and present product ranges from all eight divisions (Aircast, CefarCompex, Chattanooga, DJO Surgical (formerly Encore), DonJoy, Empi, Ormed and Procare) at our new DJO booth.

We have has always been committed to supporting our customers and we were delighted by the considerable appreciation of our first book published by DJO Publications which we launched at the Congress.

More than 350 copies of ‘Current Concepts in Achilles Tendon Rupture’ were collected by ESSKA members from our booth. The book has taken 15 months’ hard work by the Editors and Contributing Authors. It is the culmination of the efforts of The Achilles Tendon Study Group (AT Study Group) which has gathered to discuss the best available evidence and expert opinion on the aetiology, diagnosis and treatment of Achilles tendon ruptures. Having examined in depth the international achievements and directions taken by this distinguished group of authors, the AT Study Group presented their findings in a special 60 minute symposium at ESSKA.  If you would weren’t able to attend ESSKA, but would like a copy, please contact info@djopublications.com
